The Practice

About ASR Motors

ASR Motors is an engineering practice dedicated to the design, control and thermal management of high-performance electric machines. We help customers take motors and drives from a blank page to dyno-validated hardware.

Mission

Physics first. Delivery always.

Electric-drive programs live or die on three axes: electromagnetic sizing, control dynamics and thermal headroom. We own all three, so the design decisions that matter most never fall through the cracks between teams or vendors.

Our clients include automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers, aerospace actuator integrators, industrial equipment makers, and research groups developing next-generation topologies. We engage as a focused expert partner — small team, deep bench, no hand-wavy deliverables.

What we stand for

  • Traceable requirements from the first meeting to the final report
  • Models validated against test data — not PowerPoint
  • Clear IP boundaries and clean handovers
  • Engineers who speak the language of your production team
Principles

Four principles that drive every engagement.

01

Rigor

Every number we deliver is built on first-principles analysis, corroborated by simulation and, where possible, test.

02

Speed

We run tight iteration loops — analytical models before FEA, FEA before hardware — to hit program milestones without shortcuts.

03

Transparency

You receive the underlying models and assumptions, not just glossy plots. Decisions are defensible and reproducible.

04

Ownership

We commit to outcomes. If a design misses, we root-cause it and make it right — on timeline.

Capability Matrix

Domains we cover end-to-end.

Single capability engagements, turnkey programs, or embedded advisory — we scope to fit.
